The DFT® model PDC® Check Valve is a pulse-dampening check valve specially designed for use on the discharge side of reciprocating air or gas compressors.
The PDC® includes a pulse-damping chamber to maintain the disc in the open position during the momentary reductions in flow associated with each cycle of a reciprocating compressor and to protect against premature seat wear.
The construction includes standard body materials of either carbon steel or stainless steel. Seven valve sizes are available, ranging from 2’’ up to 12’’.
