Removing a 20″ Inch Knife Gate Valve in a Paper Plant
Flotech service technicians removed an ancient 20-inch Knife Gate Valve off of a black liquor tank at a Georgia paper mill during a planned outage. Typical repair required removing the valve, rebuilding the valve seat, repairing the pneumatic cylinder actuator, and testing and reinstalling it.
