Now selling and servicing Trimteck Control Valves; Welcome surfing engineers

Trimteck Optimux Control valves Florida sales and service agreement

opgl_movie_iconTrimteck, a family owned American company with over 30 years experience designing and manufacturing flow control products has added Flotech as a control valve distributor and service organization in Florida.

With a comprehensive line of Optimux™ control valves, actuators, severe service trims and positioners Trimteck engineers work with their customers to solve most complex flow control problems quickly and economically.

Flotech is very excited to partner with a quality obsessed, Florida based control valve manufacturer. Trimteck’s ability to quickly deliver a high quality control valve will solve a lot of problems for our customers tired of waiting for Fisher™ control valve deliveries.

Additionally, the Trimteck Optimux™ design allows easy, fast and inexpensive maintenance. Unlike other diaphragm – operated control valves the piston cylinder- actuated OpGL™ provides stiffness, high positioning accuracy control – making for the world’s most efficient and accurately responsive valve.

Here is what Christian Conesa, Trimteck Vice President, had to say about our relationship:

“We are thrilled to be able to count on Flotech’s presence both as a sales channel and field service channel in Florida. The new partnership is unique in that our customers will see the benefit of seasoned Flotech sales engineers and service technicians, combined with the backstop of our local expert design, applications engineering, and manufacturing presence in Coral Springs, Florida.”

Welcome Charlie Santana, Sales Engineer

charlie-plant-wideCharlie joined our sales steam last August and we are excited to add a talented young engineer to our growing organization. He is a local Jacksonville, Florida kid.

He was always a curious boy and after a long history of Lego construction projects, which he admits to fostering his interest in how things work, he decided to pursue an engineering education, focusing on Mechatronics* (*Mechatronics-MCT- a multidisciplinary field of engineering that includes a combination of systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, control engineering and computer engineering.)

Prior to cutting his teeth on engineering, and most weekends, you could find him in or around the water. Surfing is one of his passions so it’s no wonder someone from Flotech met him out in the lineup waiting for the next set of waves early one morning before work.

Charlie was an ocean life guard involved with ocean rescue and the American Red Cross though high school and college. He loves the water, engineering challenges, physics and his new opportunity in sales. While completing his Mechanical Engineering degree Charlie was involved in mechanical design with a robotics startup.

His current role at Flotech is technical sales and support for pressure management devices (relief/safety valves). This includes the production of 3-D models as well as engineering drawings to be used for OEM customers and general dimensional analysis for the installation of our products.

Flotech’s pressure management group represents Pentairs’ Anderson Greenwood, Crosby and Varec product lines.

When you get a chance to talk with him you will understand why we are delighted Charlie joined our team.
